Regarding the conformance to web content accessibility guidelines 1.0 on the w3c site
I've used the online validator webxact watchfire to go through my site to check for validity and it says that my site is fine. I've gone through the list of things I had to check manually it said and they're all fine too.

Does that mean I can put the shiny button graphic on my site or do you have to use a specific validator/checker? If so can you point me in its direction.

Is it worth getting watchfire bobby or one of the other site validator apps that validate your whole site in one go?any recommendations?

thanks

It's the usage of the Accessibility icons as described on
I'm trying to figure out. It looks like I'm fine according to webexact, but I wondered if there was a definitive program/site like the w3c html validator at that I could use to make sure before I put the AAA icon on my site and then get shouted at by someone :)

From a pretty design standpoint, do you put the valid/accessible icons on each page or on one page such as the About page?

Hi

The HTML and CSS validators are syntax checkers. But the accessibility is not such an exact science, much more theory is involved. So is not so simple to decide about conformance.

Personally I use Cynthia to check my pages :

And I put those icons on each standard compliant HTML page, because they are reffering to the document, not to the whole site.

You could have more and better answers to this question by posting it in forum253 ( Web site designers ).

Feherke.
