Folks,

First sorry my poor english :)

I have one SERVER 1, publisher of my merge replication and one SERVER 2, the subscriber. Sometimes I get some conflicts when the replication brings records from subscriber to publisher, foreign key violation in detail tables as if in the master tables there was no record.. but when I search in the master tables from SERVER 1 (publisher) I do found the records... I am confuse because if I didn't find the records that would explain the error... as i said before it doesn't happens always.. most of transactions are replicated without problems.

Does anyone knows what may be causing that?

Thanks for your help,

Van.

Vanclecio,

I also use merge replication and have this problem.

I think it may be caused by the servers being too slow, over-worked to keep up with the workload.

You can set which server is to be the "winner" when there is a confloct - choose publisher or subscriber . Have you done that.

Even so, sometimes I lose a row, or the row doesn't get updated correctly, in my publisher database on my primary server.

I wish Microsoft would fix this problem. I use SQL Server 7.

Good luck, John
