IS-IT--Management
Take this for what's it worth... I could not verify the reports myself. But a client who had v5.3.15 is telling me that their server's hourly sales and labor reports don't match whats on the audit report.
Example: Check is showing up on server sales, but they cant find it on the audit report within the same time period.
I realize the audit report is highly configurable, and it could just be they forgot to check one of the boxes something, or some such silly thing. (although this user is fairly competent.
The only logical thing I could think of-if they are reading the reports right-is that maybe the way sales are calculated for each report is different. For example, it makes some sense on the server sales report, not to count a sale until it is actually closed. Whereas maybe the audit report calculates this differently. But I am just guessing that this one possible issue, no evidence of it yet.
Anyway, I just figured I would throw this out here to the experts before I bothered looking into it too much. Plz let me know if you have any ideas.
