Can someone help a young fledgling in javascript, like my self, figure out how to get a sliding javascript menu (left column - embedded in the HTML), and a pop out menu - (top bar - references two external js files) to cooexist peacefully on the same page. I know they both work independantly. but when I combine them on the same page, the referenced files seem to get stepped on and ignored. Since there is a fair amount of code on the page, here is the url:

http//
If anyone could take a look at this and shed some light, that would be awsome. After three days in books and banging my head on the monitor, I really need help on this one.

thx,
cstud
