its funny how some things don't come up for years.. I got asked a question... customer had an old Legend system that finally died and we replaced it with an IP Office. There used to be a held call reminder that would alert the phone every so many seconds . I don't ever recall seeing this on an IP Office. I assume its one of the features that they did away with??

Don’t think so

If you put a call on hold you still get an alert usually after 30 seconds.
It’s a triple alert ring(tone)
You can set the On hold timer in settings

I should clarify, I think they want a beep on the call park feature. They use that the most.

A Magix just beeps to remind you that there is a call still holding.

An IP Office used the Hold Timeout and Park Timeout timers, but the call RINGS back to the extension that held or parked the call.

You can try adding DISTINCT_HOLD_RINGBACK to your No User Source Numbers to see if the display on rturning calls is helpful to your customer, but they will probably freak when they realize that it is going to be a ringing call
