Hi guys,

I managed to configure FTP to confine users to their own directory using chroot. How do i do the same for telnet and ssh sessions. when i log in as another users besides root, i am still able to browse to system folders. how to i confine telnet and ssh users to their own directory. thanks in advance

chmod 611 /home /etc and anything else you dont want them to be able to view, that wont keep them in their home dir's but it will keep them from viewing anything you dont want them to. You could also setup a jailshell which would lock them in their home dir's.
