We have 2 IP Office 500 systems with the network software (on each), were in the beginning process of establishing the WAN communications between the two. There are high speed internet connections at both locations. All CO's are copper, the only reason for the network software is to establish 3 digit extension dialing between the two locations. What is the best way to accomplish this task? Will we be able to utilize the exsiting equipment or will we be required to purchase additional hardware?

You need a VCM module on both systems and Voice network license on both sites.
Further you need to setup IP Trunks between both sites, which means you have to create a IP Line with the ip address of the opposite site and SCN enabled.
If necessery you might to add a IP Route towards the IP Address of the remote system were you define which gateway ( router ) must be used and over which network ( LAN1 or LAN2 ) the calls have to be send.
