Configuring voicemail

Hi, I am trying to configure the voicemail in my BCM verison 4.0.2.03 but i can't. I am novice with Nortel, but it shouldn't be that hard to configure VM? Under Keycode, I can see VM Actif 32 seats. I have try to configure DN 215. I have create the mailbox under Call pilot...but i can't make it works. Any tips? Thx

You need to initialize with default password, (0000).

Thanks. so I should press the VM button or dial VM Ext (351) and then type 0000 ?

If your dialing from the telephone you built the Vmail for, yes. If from a different telephone, you press * Mbox number, the default password then #.

when you launch your element manager and then open the call pilot gui the screen will prompt you 4 a pass word like deweyhumbolt stated 0000 and it will also prompt you to chg it if so desired...

Also remember to set the FWD no answer and Fwd Busy options in set programing to the VM Ext. if you do not know the VM Ext press Feature 985 on any phone.

F981 will log into the users mailbox. the default Psw is 0000. it will than prompt you to change the Psw and record users name.
