configuring vlans on a 2900 xl to allow hosts to access the router but

without being able to communicate with other hosts in the same subnet. I found a solution in: thread902-975231 for a baystack switch that works great (I also have a baystack switch) but I need to do the same thing on a 2900xl and a pair of 3500xl's.

Private VLANs give you this functionality but I'm not sure if they are supported in the 2900XL.
 
Thanks... Yes you are correct Private VLans would work.. however they are not supported on either the 2900xl or the 3500xl which are the only switches I have....
