I keep shuttling with my win 98 laptop between (7) locations, not all of which have DHCP servers.

1. Can a write a script to set IP address, default gateway, DNS, and default NT domain? Or is upgrading to a different OS going to make this easier to preconfigure?

2. Can a script change the proxy server in Microsoft Proxy Client?

Thanks for any tips.
