Hi,

I can't see any documentation on how to add routes to a Solaris machine which will remain between boots, apart from creating a script in the rc2.d/ directory that runs 'route add ..' commands.

Is there not a configuration file which could be applied, in the same manner as the /etc/hosts?

cheers,
Andrew Ballantyne cheers,

Andrew - will /etc/defaultrouter (create it if it doesn't exist, putting your route in it) do the job? Cheers.

If you have a more specific default route to add, simply create a script such as /etc/rc3.d/S99customroute containing the appropriate route add command. Annihilannic.
