I am new to this forum and I'm not entirely certain if this question can be answered by any SNMP expert out there. But here goes.. I am trying to setup Net-SNMP and configure snort (Intrusion Detection System) so that the data from snort can be communicated back to SNMP. Are there any special configurations that needs to be done on the part of SNMP? Ie, any plugin, configuration changes that need to be made within SNMP for it to work? Thanks in advance.
