configuring snmp traps to send to external IP or server

In Element Manager, go to:
-System -> Alarms -> SNMP
Fill out the Required Fields, Check the box to enable trap sending, and enter the IP address of the machine that will receive your traps in the IP address 1: field.
Click Save, and do a Data Dump (Backup the Call Server) to activate the new SNMP profile.
