Hello Everybody!
I'd like to know if there is way a to configure the Outgoing the ANI Number sent to the link provider. Is there?
CASE: I want to know about what I need to configure on my outbound link, cause' the provider expects to receive all the digits, not only the extension number, like xxxx-xxxx(Brazil).
PROBLEM: This is the first issue. The last maintainer has set up the extensions(normally 3 or 4 digits) with 8 digits like expected for the provider. But when I need to log in an IP Phone, it only accepts 4 digits. Also their "no answer time out" do not redirect the calls cause' they use 8-digit extensions and 4-digit short-codes to refer them.
EXAMPLE:
Short Code Telephone Number Feature
1297 32121297 Dial Physical Extension by Number
POSSIBLE SOLUTION: They have informed that there is no possibility to configure their call treatment to avoid this. So, I need to configure 4-digit extensions like they need to be and, set the OUTGOING ANI 3212-xxxx for external calls sent to the provider to avoid the 8-digit problem.
Is there this possibility?
