Hi !!

Here’s the scenario:

I have a webserver which is running windows 2003, IIS 6 & SMTP service.
It has a public IP address assigned to it - 69.59.X.X
I have a .net application which generates email and sends out the same using the my SMTP server on IP address 69.59.X.X

During the pre-release testing, lots of emails were sent out from this address.

This has resulted in the blacklisting of my IP address 69.59.X.X by

http://dsbl.org/

Now that I have hardenend my SMTP, I wish to get myself removed from the DSBL {Distributed Sender Blackhole List}.

As per the website's condition, this is what they have to say..

Note that postmaster@ is a required address, see RFC 2821, section 4.5.1.

What I require from you all is... How do i configure either of the following 2 addresses on my server:

postmaster@69.59.X.X
abuse@69.59.X.X

Have you configured the Windows 2003 POP3 mail service? This is where you'd add mailboxes for postmaster and abuse. See this link for more info:
