I am configuring a Windows web server with IIS 6.0 for the first time -- I'm a newby in that respect.

How do I configure the mail service in IIS? When I do a test run with an aspx page that uses System.Web.Mail, I get the error message "Could not access 'CDO.Message' object."

I am assuming that I get this message since I'm not sure I have completely set everything up in IIS.

Might want to ask this in the server 2003 (assuming that's what you are running) forum. You might try going to the Manage My Server tool under Administrative Tools and adding a Role to your server. I believe there is one in there called "Mail Server.
