Configuring FastEtherchannel

I have a 5500 and 2 2900XL's set up as below

All links are FE. Each port is a trunk link, trunking VLANs 80 and 88. STP is enabled on all ports.
Speed and duplex settings are identical on all ports.

Can anyone please tell me the commands needed on both devices, and for any pitfalls to be aware of?

I can tell you some tips. The 5505 is not as smart as other Catalyst switches since it is a bit older. It will only load balance based on the last 2 bits of the Destination & Source Mac address. This means that you may not truly "load balance" depending on the MAC addresses on both sides. Same is true with certain versions on the 2900.

In my case, I had a RSM in my 5505 and I modified the MAC address on on VLAN so it would better load ballance.

P.S. always remember the switch can only load balance outgoing traffic, it's the other end's responsibility to load balance stuff coming in.
