Hi all!
I have an already configured NEC Aspire System(Philips IPC 500 actualy), and I need to do some enhancements.
Now every extension is able to call all other extensions, and everyone is able to make/receive external calls (excluding some toll calls configured in their toll restriction class). I need to make a group of extensions (for company bosses), so that only bosses will be able to call each other directly, while other employees must dial a secretary extension and she will transfer those calls to one of the bosses (direct call from employee should be blocked). At the same time every boss should be able to call any employee directly. Also, external calls direct to bosses should be allowed.
We now receive external calls via DID trunks (we have E1 ISDN PRI connection) and external calls go through DID translation (last 4 digits = extension's 4 digit number). No department groups are configured. PBX is at remote location so I want to be prepared when I get there (configuration is made via web but only from local network - no remote access). I was thinking of creating a department group for bosses and setting all other's extensions class of service option 20-13-14 "Department Calling" to off, but I'm not sure if it works. So I need an advice how to do what is needed.
Any help appreciated!
