I come across a problem while configuring Quad Gigaswitch Ethernet card on Sun Blade 150. As i have eri0 build-in port for my Sun Blade which is already plumbed. Now when i up both ports with IPs from same class i.e., 192.168.0.1 for eri0 & 192.168.0.2 for ce0 having same netmask i.e. 255.255.255.0. Now i give ping to third machine i.e. 192.168.0.10 which states alive with both ports have cable. But if i make the eri0 without cable, it replys no answer even ce0 has cable in it. I change the values from eeprom local-mac-address but it reverses the situation. Even i use ndd -set /dev/ip ip_forwarding 1 but doesn't work for me.
