Is anyone using this on their Cisco swtiches? Does it work? What would be the average percentage of Bandwidth (broadcasts) that I would set the ports to so it would work effectively. Also does it actually disable the port when it reaches the specified percentage? Thanks to all who can help......

Configuring Broadcast/Multicast Suppression

I've used broadcast suppression on the 6500's but only on an as-needed basis (when I suspect a broadcast storm). It doesn't disable the port, just drops broadcasts exceeding the bandwidth percentage specified.
