Hello all,
just a quick question; I've taken on a small project, two days contract for a client to install a layer 3 Switch and 2 Cisco ASAs and set up VPNs to third parties.

I'm an experienced network eng. but I've never worked with the PIX nor ASA, is there much to configuring them, is it line command based or can they be configured using a GUI?

Which is easier?

Have I taken on too much?

Thanks ya'll,

Paul

pretty straight forward...gui or cli depends on what you prefer. web gui in ASA is very easy just make sure you secure the http/s have you taken on too much? only you can answer that. if you are an experienced network eng. you'll be just fine

post your configs here once they're done and we'll have a look at them to make sure we can't spot any security holes.

I hate all Uppercase... I don't want my groups to seem angry at me all the time! =)

Thanks guys,
