Hi Folks,
I am quite new to telephone systems and recently purchased a used BCM50 for a small office. I have two questions that I would appreciate a little help with
1) I have fully reset the BCM50 and have a number of stations configured and working, the BCM50 is plugged into a analog PSTN phone socket on a Cisco cable box (which maybe the problem?). In BCM Business Elements, under Resources/Telephony Resources it states that the Internal Analog Trunk is "Enabling.." and doesn't ever become enabled. Each port on the analog trunk reports "unequipped". I have tried connecting the PSTN line to all four analog trunk ports to no effect. Could this be related to the Cisco cable modem or am I missing some configuration?
2) I would like to configure the PBX and not have to come back to it, I suspect the most likely failure point is the HDD, is it possible to clone the drive and replace it?
Thanks in advance.
