Hello,

I hope somebody our there can help me. I am following this article

but I seem to be having a bit of trouble with steps 4 and 5. I am not absolutely sure what to type in on 4 (I have literally typed the word Peers and nothing else), and when I try to type in TimeInSeconds at step five, it wont let me type it in.

Does anybody out there know why I might be having this trouble? I am doing this on a 2003 Ent server DC (fully SP'd) that holds the PDC Emulator role.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Kind regards,
D.

Hello,

It tops up this still isnt working out. Here is the full picture, we had a time server configured on our network, but I moved the PDC Emulator on to another server, which then prevented all the PC's on the network finding it. So I went online and configured another time server on the DC that now holds the PDC emulator role.

I think I need to stop the previous machine (still a DC) from trying to be the NTP server. Shall I just disable the service?

What could be preventing the clients from finding the new NTP server?

Any help much appreciated.

Kind Regards,
D.
