I have just purchased a Linksys Rv082 and a new IP Block from my ISP
They gave me a WAN ip of XXX.XXX.WAN.24
a gateway of XXX.XX.WAN.1
Mask of 255.255.255.224
and a Lan block of public IPS's of xxx.xxx.244.208 /28
with xxx.xxx.LAN.209 as the gateway
with xxx.xxx.LAN.210 - 222 as the usable addresses
with mask of 255.255.255.240
Is it possible to configure the router to have the wan ip and then the lan IP block belong to a Cisco Pix?
Basicaly setting some sort of static route through the router to the pix that is plugged into the 1 of the 8 Lan Ports.
My end goal is to have the pix with all of the public IP's and use the cisco VPN client to VPN into my network and only use the PIX firewall.
I know this is easy with a cisco router but Im clueless on the Linksys
