I have a software called ERS which records phone calls and charges to certain department and when a report prints out it is telling me that the area code 866 was a charge code. How can I go abouts in the Nortel 11C option to tell it that its a free toll call. What load and what changes should I make.

Thanks for any help

It sounds like the change needs to be made in the ERS software. The PBX doesn't determine how calls are charged. That info is configured in the call accounting software. If you want, you can verify that 866 calls go out your local route....

LD 90

REQ PRT
CUST 0
FEAT NET
TRAN AC1
TYPE SPN
SPN 1866

The resulting printout will identify the route list index (RLI) used for 866.

SPN 1866
FLEN 11
ITOH NO
RLI (n)
SDRR NONE
ITEI NONE

You can go into LD 86, if necessary, to print the RLI to determine which route (ROUT) is used but, again, how calls are charged is set up in the call accounting software- not the PBX.
