Does anyone have some quick steps on configuring an 800 DID module? I just got a used module and want to order some circuits and get DID working. I've got documentation but doesn't seem to be as simple. Also - I assume the only thing that works with this module is analog DID circuits from telco?

You can "Massage" the digits somewhat by Deleting and/or Adding digits to fit your dial plan and what they are sending you.

The best thing is to do some Pre-Planning with the Telco ahead of time to shop around to try to get the DIGITS they say they can send to fit your dial plan. Or vice versa.

You assume correctly. There are a few of things to do:
1 - Assign the DID trunks to a block
2 - set them to wink start
3 - Decide what digits you are going to manipulate, or take them straight from Telco.
4 - Set them to touch tone.
5 - Set the number of incoming digits
This is all done under the DID menu in WinSPM or from the programming console.
