hello...
I want your help. Idealy in step-by-step. I cant find answer which I can use to successfully configure my 2848 switch. HP manual is bad (for me).

LAN topology: we have one 195.29.220.x subnet with several switches accross building. In first floor is my department with PCs connected to 2848 switch (ip adress switch 195.29.220.161). Main gateway for internet access is 195.29.220.2. I want to divide my department from 195.x.x.x. with hp 2848 to 192.168.2.x subnet. All my PCs must have ip adress range 192.168.2.x. PC need connection to internet. That is, hp 2848 must like act router and switch for my department.

If you can help me, this will be great. I am beginner in this jobs with switches.

with regards, daniel

Without spending some quality time with the manual, I can't tell whether the 2824 will do the routing you need. I can tell you that it will not provide DHCP or NAT.

Err, I meant the 2848, not the 2824.
