Hi,

I have and DSL line and a Partial T1 line connected to one win2k pro. I have two nic cars as well and have configured them both with each connection (ip, subnet mask, Default Gateway and DNS's). I have a program that I want to run only through the partial T1 and I want to run the internet through the DSL line. Until now only one connection will work at a time. The connections switch between themselves, but only after trying each connection a couple of times. Is there a solution to this problem?

You might be able to pull it off with static routes. Make your default gateway the DSL line only and set a static route to the appropriate application address out the T1. (can also make a floating default route by setting a very high metric) Obviously this assumes you have a known destination address. Otherwise you would do well to get a router w/ 2 eth and 1 serial ports (like Cisco 2610)

How do I set a static route to the appropriate application address out the T1?
Or a floating default route by setting a very high metric?
