Does anyone know of a good firmware to get Linksys Wireless router to work under Debian Sarge 3.1. Here's my setup:

I have a desktop running Debian GNU/Linux,which I will be using to run the home network, so that I can use my Sony laptop running Windows wirelessly. My laptop reads the connection but the Internet is still not working. What may be the problem?. CAn anyone help. Thank you for your assistance.

You say it reads the connection. Is your laptop connected to the wireless network? Meaning does it say "Connected to yournetworkname?"

If not then there might be a DHCP conflict, or a number of other reasons.

Also what do you mean that the Debian desktop will be running the home network? Are you going to be setting up a domain or just trying to surf the web wirelessly?
