I have written a VB.Net program and added an installer to it.
The installer creates everything fine including creating a windows .exe in my required destination folder.

I have a small problem adding a link to the .exe from the windows Start->Programs.
I can add it in the installer by selecting the 'users Program menu' and adding'Project Output' selection of 'Primary output'.
the problem is that when installed, the Start->programs menu shows the program as Myprogram.exe rather than Myprogram.
There doesn't seem to be an option to rename the way its displayed on the properties of the installer.

Can anybody advise?

Dazed and confused.
