Configure Win Reg for server timeout length ?

I'm wondering if the amount of elapsed time that Crystal will wait for a server/datasource response might be configurable in the Win Registry. I'm getting a message
that states. When running a report with a custom COM, sometimes it times out and I get a box ('Server Busy') that states: 'This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose 'Switch To' to activate the busy program and correct the problem'.

I'm thinking the report is timing out due to server response (?)

Any thoughts out there ?
