Is it possible to configure VPN services on a PDC when the PDC is not multihomed (That is, there is only one network connection from the PDC) ?

The LAN to/from Internet routing functions are handled by another machine which performs NAT functions and can forward incoming VPN requests from the internet. Therefore, the W2K PDC does not need to have a second NIC. However, W2K server does not seem to let me configure VPN services with only one NIC in the PDC.

Anyone got a simple way around this?

hmmm have you tried to assign 2 IP addresses (in different subnets) on 1 NIC ? Peter Van Eeckhoutte

Interesting approach, no I have not tried that yet.

I got it!
I simply needed to select the "<no internet connection>" option.
