Configure VLANs using 3com Switch 3900??

I was trying to configure a second VLAN in one Switch model 3900. As you know it already has one, the default VLAN connected to the principal subnet. Using web-management I am able to create the new VLAN (other subnet) and assign an IP address, however when I try to access any resource or node from one subnet to the other, I couldn’t make it. Any clue…I have done many things, but still doesn’t work…
 
The only way to get between VLANS is route. Either with a dual port router ( router on a stick) or a layer 3 switch/router like the 3500 ( 3com flavor) You could bridge but that defeats the entire purpose of the VLANs
