Configure the T1 DSU/CSU?

Hi,

I don't understand how to configure these cards. When I post show interfaces or show ip int b, I see no listing for the device.

I guess it just acts as a WAN port? Does it dynamically receive data and know to send data back out of it?

Is this a 2mft T1/E1 card? If so you need to tell what type of card it is. (Card type T1).

If it is a true csu/dsu there is already an serrial interface assisgned.

Post a sh ver and config.

yah I guess T1 lines are serial... learn something new everyday. I guess to configure a cisco router from a cable modem, I will need 2 ethernet ports on the router.
