Configure RAID-0 on Adaptec AIC-7896 SCSI Controller.

Hi folks, how are you.

I have couple days trying to configure raid 0 on adaptec aic-7896 scsi chip controller and i do not have any clue in order to get that @#$%^&*!@$ done; you know.

If you guys have any info, i will really appreciate it.

someone will correct me if im wrong but i dont think the 7896 is a raid chipset, i think its just a scsi controller.

Could not find an Adaptec 7896. Aic-7896, is that the dirver name? Roadkill may be right, if it is a SCSI controller it may not be a RAID controller.

You would have to either buy a Hardware RIAD solution or use MS Software RAID if it turns out your card is just a SCSI controller.
