I hope that someone will be able to assist me on this subject, since I have been running in circles lately.
So I need to know the best way to integrate Cognos 10.1 with SharePoint 2010. I have read several documents on the subject, including IBM's ( way too simple to work) process...and I am left with a question.
In almost all docs I have read, it states to create a separate virtual directory and namespace dedicated to Cognos Portal Services. My question is, the environment that I am working in has the SharePoint server and Cognos Server on different boxes, and the Cognos Application Server has one namespace set to Active Directory, and the Gateway Server has Anonymous Access set to False. If I add another namespace will it conflict with the SSO that is set up for the users?
Will they be prompted for credentials because the namespaces are conflicting?
I appreciate greatly ANY assistance I can get!
