Hi All

I am trying to setup a simple ad-hoc wireless (802.11b) connection between two Samsung X10 laptops. One laptop has Win2k Pro and the other has WinXP Pro.

I have shared a folder on each laptop.

On the Win2k laptop, I can see, access & pull data off the other laptops shared folder. But from the XP pro laptop, I can see the machine in Network Places but can not access it. Everytime, I clik on the icon in Network Places, it displays the username/password dialog box.

It looks like a permissions problem, but permissions a set to the Everyone group with full control.

Any ideas

Thanks

Add the usernames and passwords of Computer A to Computer B as usernames and passwords.

Do the reverse procedure for Computer B, add the usernames and passwords for Computer A.

The simple answer is always the best! I hate workgroups..

Thanks once again.
