Configuration Password Reset

Does anybody know how to remove, recover, or replace the configuration password in Mcafee 4.5x? Some idiot put the config password on and now I can't fix it. I know I can reinstall the product, but I am hoping there is a qick fix.

Is this machine on the network have you installed Management edition if you have then it is a matter of changing the settings for the PC on the management console and then applying the configuration to the client pc.
