Does anyone know how to access Config/setup utility for a Netgear wireless modem router DG834GT. I thought it was 192.168.0.1 which obviously doesnt work,any help much appreciated,many thanks.

I can confirm that I have this router and you are correct by defualt it is set to 192.168.0.1. Is it a second hand purchase? If so you may be able to find out from the seller alternatively have you already tried resetting the router?

Not sure on Netgear, but I was thrown to find my modem was

192.168.1.1.

Daft question but can you get an ip address of it?

If so, do a run>cmd>ipconfig /all

The gateway will be your modem.

Only the truly stupid believe they know everything.
