Does any one know how to configure any options for the 3com 905C card in NT 4 Server.
Unlike 98 or 2K, the driver does not have a properties page and the drivers for the past few revisions have been shipping without the old useful GUI Diags.
3Coms site does not directly answer this issue, though implies you have to use Tcaudiag.exe to update the onboard rom, though there is no install on the driver cd, even though the files are there. Manually extracting them will not allow the program to execute.
Any thoughts. Basicaly need to set the flow control to 10mbps, not auto.
Any ideas would be helpful.

1) right click on network neighborhood and select "Properties".
2) click on "Adapters" tab, (you will see the network adapters installed on your server).
3) click on "Properties.."
4) click on "Settings..."

from here, you can select the network speed and the duplex mode.

hope this helps

This does not work, this is what is causing the problem. I agree you should be able to do this, though the drivers does not allow it, hence needing to know another way or how to install tcaudiag to manipulate the rom directly.
This properties page will appear if you use the supplied nt4 server driver for a 3com 905B, but this microsoft/3com driver does not support the 905c, hence needing to use 3coms own driver, therefore for some strange reason no access to diags, gui or otherwise.
