I have encountered a situation where an MD110 with a TCP/IP connection to an interception computer started to go haywire as soon as the two were connected together. Eventually the MD110 restarted. This happened over and over again. The fault turned out to be that the configured remote server port number (RPORT) was not actually the port number of the interception computer software. It turned out to be a webserver on the same IP adress using the assigned port number. When this was discovered and corrected all worked fine. What makes me concerned is that such a minor misconfiguration has such an impact on system overall performance.
Has anyone else experienced anything similar?
