Configuration of an AS400 IBM to access a AS5300 RAS from CISCO

Hi, I'm trying to connect to a RAS from CISCO model AS5300 with an AS400 from IBM and a Modem using SLIP protocol. What do I need to config so I can do that? I think I may need to give a static IP to the AS400 in the RAS.
