Is there a way to poll the miva binary to see what it thinks the mivaroot is?

Have you taken a look at the miva.conf in the /etc directory??
This should define the miva directories I believe.

Yes I have but I still get the same error. I am running it under apache and have modified the conf file with the & document root and still no luck. Thats why I am wondering if there is an option with the binary to see what it thinks the path is or more exactly what miva is saying its path is.
