Configuration Backup - automation

Has anyone done an automated backup of a PIX? Or better yet, of cisco routers as well?

What I would like to accomplish: After getting burned (my own fault) for not having a backup of my PIX I would like to set up an automated process to regularly back it up for me.

If you have a TFTP server running, you can do this after doing a write mem:

write net [<tftp_ip>]:<filename>

There is no need for an automated backup, since your configuration is only changed when you change it. So after you do a wr mem, do a write net.

In IOS you would do a copy running-config tftp:
