Configuration and use of MySQL on PHP4 1

I have just installed PHP4 on my Win32 that is raunning Apache, I want to use MySQL but I dont know wheather it is included in the PHP4 bundle already or wheather I'll have to download it separately.

If it is already included, how do I sort of configure it and start using it?

the php4 bundle does not contain mysql, you will have to download it separatly and install, mysql downloads can be found at

http://www.mysql.com/downloads/mysql-3.23.html
