Does anyone know of a software package Cisco (or any other company) produces that enables you to automatically generate IOS commands from a GUI?

I've been working with Cisco products for a few years now (CCNA, CCDA, CWLSS) and I always wondered if they made an automatic config generator that enabled a tech to generate IOS commands automatically. I believe I saw a software package on Cisco's website that enables ACL's to be generated/managed from a GUI....

If there is such a product on the market, has anyone used it?

Yes, Cisco makes a GUI for doing just that known as "Config Maker". When I first started learning Cisco stuff Config Maker was a good tool in drawing out what you want to do, then looking at the configuration to monitor any changes. Keep in mind, Config Maker may put things in your configuration that you do NOT want, so be careful before applying what it has created.
