I need to setup a PIX on a network that has a frame between 2 sites. i have never done this type of set up and i'm not a cisco IOS routing buff, i would assume that i need to add a route for the Frame. it would help if some one could post an example with some notes

little over view

main site:
1 netopia(DSL) headend router (no NAT no filtering)
2 Frame router to 2nd site (i'll need a route for this in the pix)

Need a little more detail. Is the Netopia the Internet router and the framed router is a private frame relay to another office?

Yes, I am looking for a config example of a PIX with a router behind it to another private network. And the PIX is the default gateway.

I need more information on definning routes with the PIX

You can't do it. A pix will only route outbound, it won't redirect. You'll need to setup your internal router to be the default gateway for the computers, and have the router's default gateway be the pix.

Internet Router (ip x.x.1.1)
|
PIX (ip x.x.x.1 default x.x.1.1)
|
|----------------------|
| |
Frame Router PC (default x.x.x.254)
(ip = x.x.x.254)
(default x.x.x.1)

Your topology should look something like this.

lot of people use PIX's for a headend device
Cisco should fix that

Baa that just means another router sale for them
