Config entities revert to zero

403dt 1.4.27, twice recently after customer made changes and rebooted some of the config vanished, first time it was Incoming routes and short codes, all went to zero, 2nd time it was ip routes, what would cause this???

Using an incorrect version of manager. Make sure there aren't any rogue copies of manager anywhere on the customers network being used to make changes.

No rouges, only 1 pc with admin, only 1 user with access. Have seen in earlier versions but not for a while. Need to find out why!!!

Out of curiosity, why not upgrade them? I don't think I have any sites that were at 1.4.27, a couple were on 1.4.25 for a bit before being upgraded, so it's hard to say whether there might have been firmware probs with that release (inconceivable!)

It sounds like the user may have sent a cfg with reboot when free & then made some more changes befor the reboot tok place, this would certainly loos those changes

PS stick with 1.4(27) unless you require V2.X features, it is one of the most robust builds available.

Was considering going to 2.1.15, am sure it is not a user problem, but it continues to happen.

We have seen this problem , on 2.1(15) and (24).
We also think is a user problem , its the same user between sites and continents ????????

Seriously I think 2.1.15 is the worst build ever released, use it at your peril.
