I've tried finding answer to following but guess not looking in the right place. My boss ordered two COT lines in one of our branch offices. He wants inbound calls to go to specific phone (ie. lineA to DN 1111 and lineB to DN 2222) at that branch. Lines should have no outbound calls. I've looked at current config for other lines but incoming calls on other lines routed to another branch ofc where operator is so not sure. Lines at other branch are on DID trunks. 1) is this possible and 2) what are the basic steps?

You will need to build a new route for the lines (since they are inbound only, 1 route is enough). The main difference on the route will be that it is a COT vs. DID, and you want to answer YES to AUTO. This will aloow you to configure your Auto-Terminate DN for each trunk.

You will then need to set up your trunks, making sure to configure things like Loop start or Ground start, etc. You will also get a Prompt for ATDN. This is where you define the DN your boss wants the calls for these lines to go to.

Hope this helps. If not, post back and I, or someone, can post a route and COT trunk config for you.

posting of code would be great help. I'll try to do it on my own but would be great if had 'cheat sheet' to fall back on.

i'll print one out and put it up for you
