We have a variety of equipment through different vendors on our network. Currently only a small portion of these are configured for auto backups. Many don't have a scheduler to do this on their own. I'm just looking for how others handle these types of backups. Do you use a software package to handle these backup configs? Scripts written in-house? Right now we would be in trouble if we lost certain configs. I would like to automate the entire process for Cisco routers/switches/firewall and Nortel switches.
